All your posts are so full of fun with Julie and Ava. You are one lucky granny and what great times you must have had together. Don't you love how life gets better as does your relationship with your girls. Motherhood and grannyhood are the best.
Having been around for half a century, I have learned that it is the non-material things in life that matter: how much we love, family, relationships, love of God, and living the way He wants us to - that is all we will take with us when we go to meet our Father in Heaven after this life. I live with my husband, Rod, his son Nick, and my daughter Rebecca. We have been married for 7 wonderful years, but have over 58 years of marital experience between us. I have 3 very special daughters that are the joy of my life. I have 5 lively grandchildren whom I love immensely. We have a lot of fun at our house. I love sitting at the table with Rebecca and Nick as we talk, play games, and laugh a lot. We do some pretty crazy stuff and get creative in our joking around. (Sometimes we get so silly and gross that it is embarrassing in retrospect!) I am lucky enough to be married to my soul mate. We enjoy many of the same things, but have our individual strengths to complement each other. In fact, I love any time I can spend with him. I love to read and watch movies. My joy in life is my family. I enjoy the luxuries of life and have an abundance of the necessities, too. Truly my cup runneth over!
